　每年寒暑假前夕，臺南市國際英語村舉辦的冬夏令營總是讓小朋友充滿期待，家長們更是密切關注搶名額踴躍報名，今年冬令營的主題是「綠野仙蹤•野外求生」，更吸引臺北及高雄的學生前來報名參加。

　1/29～31 為期 3 天的綠野仙蹤冬令營，除了可與 8 位外籍教師直接互動，增加與外籍人士接觸的學習經驗，創造孩子們自然融入外語交流溝通的環境，透過主題式英語教學情境，增廣學生對於野外求生為主軸的相關英語字彙與辭句的接觸，拓展英語學習的面向。

　除了課程內容豐富多元，不論是運用日晷原理的方向定位、自製急救與生存工具、就地取材的遮蔽設置、求生訊息的傳達、尋找水源與建立濾水系統、野外升火與覓食煮食、竹筒工藝 DIY 等，臺南市國際英語村及行動英語村的村主任 吳貞宜老師更安排在活動第 3 天將學生帶到龍崎區的虎形山公園，讓學生們將校內所學的野外求生基本技能能實地運用，並進行生態池解說與導覽，讓學生體驗不同於日常生活的環境挑戰，刺激學生模擬、思考與手作的能力，提升創意思考及團隊精神。

　3 天的活動學生們不僅完成了手工自製的竹筒水壺與竹標槍，記憶著飄散於校園內的竹筒飯香與烤肉香，也透過這次的野外求生主題讓學生深入大自然，實地探索充滿挑戰的環境，並從中汲取生態學習及生活自理與危機處理的技能。
