臺南市博愛國小跳蚤市場   

英語購物歡樂 GO

(記者邱秋逢/台南報導)每年兒童節前夕，博愛國小總會定期舉辦全校師生歡欣期待的跳蚤市場活動，因為小朋友會將自己珍藏的玩具玩偶或各式文具用品甚至是實用的家庭用品，將其收集起來並整理好後再全班進行討論決定好要販售的價格，今(28)日當天就可以拿出來讓全校師生透過實際的金錢交易來進行買賣並從跳蚤市場活動中感受尋寶的樂趣，有些班級更模仿起夜市裡才玩得到的遊戲，在校園內擺起了投球換獎品或水上乒乓球、疊疊樂等遊戲，讓跳蚤市場活動有了更多的趣味性。

   國際英語村吳貞宜主任為因應這次的活動，於一週前就安排 8 名外籍教師於課堂上介紹購物的對話教學，讓學生們可以多次練習與模擬市場買賣的英語購物對話內容，當天並設置英語購物站，站旁還有附設英語加油站，由外師們即時提供全英語購物教學及詢問，讓學生們實際運用所學並限用英語購物。另外安排整點時段的外師財神爺來發放發財金，並在英語村一樓走廊及彩虹牆增設了 Monopoly Go!英語版的蛇梯棋及大富翁等遊戲，讓通過全英語對話設計的闖關物與關卡遊戲的學生們可以拿著英語村發行的鈔票到英語購物站來兌換各式禮品，藉以提升學生的英語對話、溝通能力並營造生活化英語環境。


  校長張慧芬表示透過這樣的活動，除了可以建立兒童正確選購物品的方法，訓練學生動手設計自己班級攤位的特色，同時也培養學童愛物惜物、知足感恩的美德，讓孩子們體驗日常生活的環境挑戰，刺激學生模擬、思考與手作的能力，提升創意思考及團隊合作精神。
