〔記者楊金城／台南報導〕配合台南市兒童文學月，台南市國際行動英語列車今年以「iEarth.愛地球、 iReading.愛閱讀」為主題，上午召集新進、學甲、博愛 3 所國小英語村在新進國小大會師，出發巡迴 90 所小學進行英語教學。 4 月 22 日並在新營文化中心舉辦兒童文學月嘉年華。

台南市教育局副局長王崑源更宣布喜訊，今年教育部閱讀磐石獎剛揭曉，台南市有後壁國中、學甲、松林、龍潭、文化國小等 5 校獲獎，全國第一，台南市推動閱讀的努力和成效獲得肯定，非常不容易。

 

文學月行動英語的開場由新進國小英語村的外籍老師和學生以說書的方式，表演童趣十足的改編版外太空的三隻小豬（ The 3 Little Pigs In Space ）故事，揭開活動序幕。

新營新進國小校長黃耿鐘說， 2018 台南文學月行動英語巡迴教學以經典童話為腳本，分別融入環保議題改編，像現代版三隻小豬講地球暖化議題，小豬搬家不是因為大野狼，而是因地球暖化，青蛙王子講減塑生活議題，愛喝珍珠奶茶的公主在不用塑膠杯後才能讓青蛙變王子，白雪公主則在說明防治 PM2.5 議題，白雪公主深受 PM2.5 的困擾，防治 PM2.5 才能讓白雪公主變乾淨。酷炫的故事背景既生動又富寓意，希望讓小學生愛英語、愛閱讀和關心環保議題。

 

行動英語車除了到校巡迴教學，課程還有趣味闖關遊戲，如風力發電、青蛙王子做環保等英語闖關，學甲國小校長蔡玉葉、博愛國小校長張慧芬說，透過學童熟悉的經典童話主角，讓 iEarth 愛地球的環保意識紮根在語言學習中，改編的趣味故事，也能激發學童的文學想像力。
