《台南首倡英語當第二官方語言》

〔記者黃文鍠／台南報導〕台南市首倡以英語做為第二官方語言，經過一年規劃，今年進入推動階段，第二官方語言辦公室指出，在市長指示下，由基層及產業界強化英語能力，今年工作重點包括產業英語化、提升國中小全英語教學、英語友善標章認證輔導等，希望以多點並進方式，在年底就能看到初步效果。

第二官方語言辦公室指出，今年列出四大工作重點，分別是提升國中小全英語教學與幼教英語教學、產業英語化，以及延續去年「營造友善英語環境」等十四項計畫，還有新增「提升英語力」等二十五項計畫。

這些計畫涵蓋了市府多個局處相關業務，但最重要的是，透過與民間的合作才能有效推動，目前初步已經與包括富樂夢教育基金會、南台科大、台南大學、崑山科技大學、台南應用大學、長榮大學與嘉南藥理大學等英語相關科系合作，搭配博愛國小英語村等單位，培育在地英文師資，成為推動種子。

而昨天富樂夢教育基金會也捐出一千萬元，希望以專款專用方式促成台南市盡早進軍國際，市長賴清德高度肯定。
